I’ll start this blog post off with an intellectually stimulating joke.

So there’s this old Italian guy who’s new to the US and he’s still got his thick accent. His neighbors hate him so he asks his son, “whya do the neighborsa hate me? Whata I do to them?”

So the old Italian guy says “Every morninga I walk outside, I see them on the stoop and say OH! You wanna go fa-coff?”

Coffee’s great before I workout!

I just started drinking it within the past year and I pretty much keep it to just before a workout.

The caffeine obviously has the positive effect of boosting your energy and helping you focus on the task at hand – making muscles :) – but it also speeds up the fat burning process.

The more intense your workouts are, the more successful you’ll be in reaching your fitness related goals. I’ve found that coffee has helped out with this big time.

My workouts are short and intense. I have a couple shots of espresso on the drive to the gym. When I get there I get right to it, not wasting any energy, I want everything I have to go into my workout and by the end I’m absolutely spent!
