Nothing is impossible when it comes to building an attractive and sexy body.
If you’re overweight, you can lose fat, build muscle, get 6 pack abs and have a body you and everyone else around you finds attractive.
If you’re underweight and skinny, you can build muscle, add lean mass to your skinny frame and build a body that will drive the opposite sex crazy.
Yes, genetics are an obstacle, but they are far from the biggest obstacle in our way. It’s possible to out train and out smart bad genetics, often it’s our attitude and self doubt that give us the greatest resistance when it comes to building our ideal body.
Am I Worth It?
It’s something we might not readily admit, but a lot of us feel we don’t deserve to have a great body. We feel that the body we are given is who we are meant to be, and it’s going to take too much hard work and dedication to change it. Who am I to have a great body? I’m not blessed with one, so why even try? Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s me under 150 in high school, then at 182 lbs a few months ago. (I’m now weighing around 188!).
Over the past week I’ve received some emails, facebook messages, even ran into a few guys on the street who all had the same question:
“How did you gain lean muscle mass?”
The interesting thing about each of these conversations and emails was that every one of these guys is making the same mistakes that I had made in the past.
It was only a couple years ago that I was weighing under 150 lbs, busting me arse in the gym trying to build muscle, but was continually coming up short. I first started lifting weights when I was 16 and hadn’t gained more than a couple of pounds throughout high school and college, which was pretty damn frustrating!
If you’d classify yourself as a “hardgainer“, also known as an ectomorph or simply a skinny guy, you’re going to have to do things a little different than guys who have no problem packing on lean muscle. It wasn’t until I figured this out, that I began making gains in the gym.
When I actually figured out what it was that I had to do differently, I gained 32 lbs of lean muscle in 8 months.
As I said earlier, every skinny guy I talk to is making the same mistakes I had made in the past. Here are 5 mistakes, and what you’ll need to do in order to correct these mistakes and begin to see some results. Keep in mind that I’ve made every one of these mistakes and then some, so don’t feel like you’re alone on this!

Roy Jones Jr. was pretty cut up in his prime. Actually still is, he just can’t fight like he used to.
Ladies enjoy seeing a good set of abs, I think that’s a no brainer. Having a lean mid-section makes that “X” or “V” shaped physique complete. You can have a muscular and athletic upper and lower body, but without a lean mid section you’re just going to look muscular.
There’s nothing wrong with being a jacked, thick dude, but it’s not the ideal body in most women’s minds – which is the focus of this article series.
The problem is that or a lot of us, getting a six pack is a pretty hard thing to do; large in part because of the fact that getting rid of that last bit of fat around the mid section has as much to do with diet as it does with training.
When your focus turns to getting lean and ripped, the first thing you’re going to have to change is your diet. You have to burn more calories than you’re consuming. You can be lean and muscular and not eat at a caloric deficit, I’ve done it for a while now, but to bring your body to that next step, burning more calories than you consume is going to help big time.
