What a trip! I shot this video while down in Las Vegas for a few days with some friends. It was an awesome trip. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Vegas but it’s a tough place to get a workout in! Read the rest of this entry »
The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure. - Sven Goran Eriksson
Everyone is tested in life, everyone has something that they want but the fear of failing is greater than the need to succeed.
I’ve done it before and I’m sure that at some point in you’re life you have as well.
You have a goal, but then you realize just how much hard work it will take to succeed in making this dream a reality and you begin to cheat, or skip out on some of the work, or procrastinate and find something else to occupy your time.
Here’s an example of what I’m talking about: Your goal is to get ripped for the summer and you go 2 straight weeks without missing a workout. Then one morning you wake up feeling a little flat and you decide it won’t do much harm to skip out on just one. A week later you miss your second, a few days after that your third, you continue repeating this patter until you’re only making it to the gym a couple times a week, if that. I was going to make a list of strictly motivational training movies like Rocky, but I instead chose films that can motivate you in all areas of life, they’re also some of my favorite movies.
So, here’s a list of 6 of the most inspiring movies I’ve ever seen.
If there are any other one’s please let me know, I’m sure I’ve missed a ton of them!
Life is Beautiful
Buon giorno principessa! What a great movie.
I have so much for respect Roberto Benigni’s character in this movie. There’s no end to what he’d do for his son or for his wife. Even though he’s about to die he keeps going, keeps a smile on his face for his son and keeps his mind off what’s actually going on around him – they’re in a concentration camp during the 2ndWorld War.
This is inspiring on so many levels. Seeing his passion for life, the love he has for his wife, he’d do anything and everything for her. What he does for his son blows my mind, no matter how much pain he’s in or how much hatred he faces, he won’t let his son see it, for his own good.
