One of the secrets to building an athletic-looking and an athletic physique in general is single-arm training. Many of the movements we perform in athletics involve using one arm, or one leg at a time such as punching, kicking, shooting a basketball, throwing a football or baseball etc…
I’m not saying get rid of your conventional exercises by any means, but supplementing some single arm pushes into a shoulders for example, can help correct imbalances and give your routine some much needed variety.
In the video I have some “performance-focused” exercises and some bodybuilding exercises, but each – more or less – hit two birds with one stone, both improving lean muscle gains and performance at the same time.

How the hell does stretching help you build the body women want?!?
I was going to do an article highlighting the benefits of stretching, but thought I’d bring back a series I was doing a couple weeks ago, which is actually one of the benefits I came up with when I was brainstorming for the original article.
So how exactly is stretching going to help us build our ideal body, or a body that is attractive to the opposite sex?
Stretching as it Relates to a Better Looking Body
Stretching helps with improving posture especially if you’re building muscle, and ladies like guys with good posture. I was surprised to hear many of the girls I talked to in preparation for this series list “good posture” as one of the physical characteristics they look for in a man.

You see it all the time in the gym, the jacked guy who’s actually very lean but for some reason his stomach sticks out like he has a gut which can either be a result of steroid use, or tightness in his gluts, hamstrings and hip flexors.
Not only does stretching improve how we look, but also how we perform and our health as well… Read the rest of this entry »

Part II: Shoulders
In the last article I talked about building a body that women find attractive. It’s not the overdone, muscular freak, nor is it the fat guy or the skinny guy that most women find appealing. It’s the guy who has muscle, is athletic and lean, but looks good not only in a bathing suit but also a suit.
I mentioned the “X” shaped physique which starts with broad, athletic looking shoulders – the topic of our article today. The first thing a girl’s going to see when she looks at a guy, besides his mug, is his shoulders, or his frame. It’s not our arms, abs or butt that will first catch their attention, those are the details. So having broad, athletic looking shoulders are pretty important when it comes to attracting the opposite sex. Read the rest of this entry »
