As you can see, I didn’t always look like the guy on the right. For the majority of my life I looked like the guy on the left (also me): the skinny dweeb who couldn’t get a date if his life depended on it.

I was SKINNY, and I lacked the confidence that I should have had, especially around girls and in sports. I also lacked the tools I needed to truly succeed in athletics.

I had a couple problems: for one, I didn’t look the part of a confident successful athlete, and even though I had success in sports – playing elite hockey, college basketball, and eventually boxing – I wasn’t at the same level physically as the top guys in each sport. I was always skinnier, and weaker than everyone.

I looked like a skinny little kid even in college, which didn’t help a whole lot socially. It wasn’t that I didn’t train hard enough – I was working out 6 or 7 days a week – but the results never came. After failing for 7 years, trying program after program, I finally met the guy who’d set me straight by providing me with the training techniques, principles, and the system that would propel me to gaining 32 pounds of lean, athletic, and powerful muscle in only 32 weeks.

I have seen first-hand the change in my life that building 32 pounds of lean muscle in 32 weeks has given me.

The confidence in both how I look and how I perform. The ability to talk to girls without being so self-conscious, and even the ability to live life as it should be lived: lacking the apprehension and shyness that came with my once freakishly skinny body.

I have also gone through the frustration of trying and failing time and time again at building lean muscle and improving my athleticism. And that’s what I want to help you – the reader’s of this blog – with.

Like I said: I’ve seen how becoming a more muscular and more athletic guy can help someone also become a more confident person. How building a body you’re proud of can bring out your true self and help you build a life that you’re proud of as well. I’ve seen it in the mirror. I’ve seen this skinny, unconfident goof transform into the person I am today. Still having insecurities, but proud of the direction I’m heading in and the life I’m building.
