The Perfect V: Specialization

Developing the Perfect V…

One Muscle at a Time

Well-rounded. Balanced. Two words or phrases that come to mind when we think about a body we’d like to create. Thus, we set out to create our ideal all at once. We hammer away at our lats, arms, shoulders, chest and legs. Watching each develop bit by bit.

It’s as if we’re studying to become an artist, but instead of focusing on one discipline, we focus on them all. An artists can get good at a lot of things. But only great at something if all of his energy is given to that one discipline. It can be the same for our training. If you’re focusing on everything, but not getting the results you want. There could be another way to go about it…

I love focusing on everything at once when I’m training. My favorite training split is an upper/lower split with a ton of athletic power movements built into my training. But what if this method isn’t working for you? What if there’s another method that will help you get the V Shaped Body, where a balanced routine has failed?

If you’re not already relatively close to where you want to be, there is another way to do things. A method of training where we focus on developing one muscle group thoroughly and perfectly, before moving on to the next. That method is called…

Specialization

Specialization is where you focus on developing one muscle group over a 4-6 week period with 4 workouts a week. 3 of these workouts will focus on developing different aspects of this one muscle. The 4th is a full body maintenance workout to maintain the other muscles in your body as to ensure they don’t disappear (they won’t).

The Benefits of Specialization

1. You’re going to SEE results immediately.

By focusing on one muscle group over 4-6 weeks, your gains in that one muscle group will be much more noticeable than gains achieved in a more balanced program. This is a very good thing. Read on…

2. You’re going to build a better muscle through more exercise variation.

This is the biggest benefit. When you’re doing a well-balanced program you don’t have enough time to add in every little exercise you want.

Take the back as an example. The back is made up of 5 muscle groups. The latissimus dorsi is the main muscle group, but there’s also the teres minor, teres major, the infraspinatus, and the trapezius (traps). To develop each muscle in the back we need a solid amount of specialization and exercise variation, which is tough to achieve in a well balanced program where we’re also trying to develop every other muscle group in our body in the same way, at the same time.

Even focus on the traps. One of the 5 main muscles in the upper back. The traps are split into the upper, mid, and lower parts of the muscle. To develop the upper, shrugs or the snatch are great exercise choices. Inclined shrugs or the seated cable row work the middle part of the muscle. Inclined front dumbbell raises work the lower part of the muscle (a part of the muscle that is rarely trained).

Yes, some exercises like the seated cable row will also work the lats. But it’s still tough to fit all of this into a routine, and we haven’t even covered the entire back yet. You see where I’m heading with this?

When you’re working with a ‘raw canvas’ so to speak, you want to build the best muscle you possibly can. You want to develop the ENTIRE back. No neglecting of one aspect. To do this, specialization is definitely the way to go.

3. You’re more likely to stick to it.

When we see visible gains, we’re encouraged. When we see success, we’re more likely to continue on with what we’re doing. It can be pretty discouraging to see nothing noticeable in the mirror after a month of training. With specialization – and more notably with the Perfect V Solution – you see gains very quickly. And they’re “perfect gains” with the entire muscle group being trained as it should be, in its entirety.

The Perfect V Solution

Build Your Ideal Physique for the same price as a
sandwich.

When I first started learning about how to transform my body I was being tutored by an awesome trainer. Specialization was a technique he showed me as a way to develop each muscle to perfection, before moving on to the next.

I’ve always wanted to create some kind of specialization program and relatively recently wrote and created a solution called the Perfect V Solution. It’s a 2-month program specifically designed to help you build the perfect V as fast as humanly possible.

As I told some friends about the program (ebook, meal guide, members site, included), I asked their advice on pricing. Between $100-$200 were by far the most common answers. I thought $47 was the way to go. But then I had an epiphany…

Why not price it at a price that everyone can afford? Why not get thousands to benefit from this solution, rather than just hundreds?

Thus, the day before I put the site up, I changed my mind and went with $7. Today is the day I bring it to you.

This is an AWESOME program. It’s the best there is for building that ideal physique that we all crave. And you can get it for the same price as a sandwich.
