The jungle gym has long been a refuge for kids to run, play tag, and escape the confines of school. Today things are different. With the rise of video games, computers, and all things technology, jungle gyms are becoming more and more vacant. While this is terrible for the youth of America, it’s great for us. With summer on the horizon, let’s take advantage of this outdoor, muscle-building oasis, and get some old school training done.arnold chin ups

The jungle gym is one of the best places we can train, for one reason: the monkey bars. Monkey bars allow us to have complete workouts, filled with ample pulling movements that are impossible on stairs, and rarely possible at home.

The jungle gym, once merely a playground for the kids, is now a universal gym, a place where we can forge fit physiques, and grow into stronger men. In the following workout we’ll use the devices found in a jungle gym to improve grip strength, correct posture imbalances, and build a strong, functional physique without having to spend a dime.

The Setup

Wherever you see a letter followed by a number – such as A1. – that’s the first exercise in a set. Each letter is it’s own group or “set”. Complete these exercises consecutively, with rest coming after both are complete. Then repeat for as many “sets” as suggested.
