One of the ways our testosterone levels are measured is in comparison to our cortisol levels. Cortisol is a stress hormone that counteracts testosterone. Both can’t exist at high levels in our body. We need to work on lowering cortisol if we’re going to see the benefits from naturally raised testosterone levels that we want to see.

I’ll get an article up on this topic soon, it’s an important one. For now, however, you can do the following.

  1. Take a vitamin with B5 in it (B5 has been shown to lower cortisol and may also show up as pantothenic acid on the label).
  2. Take BCAAs when you train (5 grams pre, 10 grams during your workout).
  3. Get your 8 hours. If that’s not an option, nap!
  4. Raise your T levels to lower your cortisol levels (come at it from the other angle) using this Testosterone Cocktail.

2. Increase Lactic Acid.

Raised levels of lactic acid in our muscles when we train makes our bodies growth hormone (GH) elevate as well. GH is a powerful hormone that helps us burn a lot more fat while maintaining – even gaining – muscle mass.

The main thing we can do when we train, is train hard. Push to failure within each set. Really feel that pain that comes from an intense workout. Also, lower your recovery periods to 30 seconds, this will not only increase the intensity of your workout, but raise your lactic acid as well.

3. Train Your lateral and posterior deltoids more than your anterior.

Having round shoulders is not only important, but it’s rare. Most guys, when they train shoulders, focus heavily on the anterior deltoid (the front head) because it’s the biggest, most prominent part of the 3-headed muscle. It’s also worked during every other press.

More time should be spent training the lateral and posterior (side and rear) heads of the deltoid. These are what require more focus and will result in much rounder, more aesthetically-pleasing shoulders.

The Power of the First Impression

Looks matter. It’s an unfair but true fact of life. If I’m meeting someone for a business meeting, I’ll make subconscious judgements about their level of success completely based on their looks, their shape, and how they’re dressed. You do it, and I do it.

Girls do it. They look us from head to toe, and without so much as a peep from us, determine our effectiveness as a lover, provider, and man in their lives – or if they even want to head down that road.

Instead of complaining that life isn’t fair, that people shouldn’t judge us on our looks, wouldn’t it be more beneficial to construct a physique that gives off a great first impression? Stop fighting how things are, and make the most out of it. Build a body that gives us confidence. More importantly, build a body that gets our food in the door so our personality has the opportunity to shine.

A few pal’s of mine have created a program that helps you build this aesthetically perfect physique. That one that fits in a suite perfectly, that gets our foot in the door automatically. If you want to learn more about these “ratios” and how you can use them to your benefit, check out the Adonis Golden Ratio Video. Enjoy.
